So the past couple of days, weeks and months have been quite uneasy with me.
I've spent my time struggling with my diseases and work and i would not get better on my own.
In order to keep my mind busy i stumbled across really cool Videos on YouTube,
introducing me to NeoCities and the Indie-Web, Linux installations, Selfhosting
to help with De-Googling and gaining independency from the gigantic Tech-Companies
that keep on shittyfying the digital spaces.
This got me started. First I installed Ubuntu to my old Surface Go, improving
not only battery life, Memory-Usage and Drive-Space taken up by Win10 - more like
lose all hihi haha - no this is actually a very significant safety-update,
because Microsoft stopped supporting the 10 but the Surface Go Processor is too
weak to operate on 11. So the only possibility was setting up the Tablet with
open source software.
I learned quite a bit doing this and now i am working through a few html tutos
so i know what i am doing here in some time and might start hosting my own server
for music streaming and other purposes.
In the following post i will list a few of those videos that inspired me.
